MFJ Special Issue on European Financial Issues

CALL FOR PAPERS


The Multinational Finance Society (MFS) and the Multinational Finance Journal (MFJ) jointly announce a Special Issue on "European Financial Issues"


Only papers presented to the 2014 academic conferences of the MFS will be considered for inclusion in the Special Issue. These include: 2014 MFS Symposium, 21st Annual MFS Conference, Winter 2014 MFS Conference.


This Special Issue aims to publish influential articles that discuss top priority issues in the banking industry. The credit crisis and the crisis in the euro area have brought severe problems to the European banking system. The Special Issue seeks to publish articles that discuss concepts dealing with governance, common supervision and common resolution of the European banking system, proposals on how to reform the banking system in the new economic environment, factors which are vital to remove external capital controls and stabilize the banking system, important issues in the financial intermediation development, the impact of sovereign risk, growth and consolidation in the banking industry, the impact of banks on monetary policy transmission, financial stability and banking spillovers.

All manuscripts should be submitted via the online system before 27 February 2015. All submissions will follow the MFJ refereeing policy.

The Special Issue is expected to be published by the end of 2015.
