  • 09:15-10:00: Ajax Hotel to Kourion
  • 10:00-10:50: Ruins of Eustolios house at ancient town Kourion - Kourion Mosaics
  • 10:50-11:25: Kourion to Koilani Village
  • 11:25-12:00: Visit Vlassides Winery at Koilani Village
  • 12:00-12:25: Koilani to Omodos Village
  • 12:25-13:30: Visit Monastery of the Holy and Life-giving Cross (Timios Stavros Monastery) and Linos Winery for wine testing
  • 13:30-15:00: Free time for food at Omodos
  • 15:00-16:00: From Omodos back to Lemesos

Cyprus has very much to offer. It’s a small island with very rich history, so visiting Cyprus would give you the opportunity to visit a number of interesting historical sites from different times through Cyprus history.

As representatives of Cyprus History would like to present to you the next monuments, sites and popular places, through a full day excursion:

  • Ruins of Eustolios house at ancient town Kourion - Kourion Mosaics (Kourion was one of the island’s most important city-kingdoms in antiquity. One of the most impressive on the island, and excavations have unearthed many significant finds, which can be viewed at the site)
  • Vlassides Winery at Koilani Village (Vlassides Winery is located in the Koilani village in Limassol region. The winery is owned by Mr Sofocles Vlassides and moved to it’s new premises in 2011. It has a capacity to produce 110,000 bottles annually and has won several awards from year 2000 an onwards)
  • Omodos Village (wine-making village, with a known mediaeval winepress and of Corse The ornament and true pride & joy of Omodos is the Monastery of the Holy and Life-giving Cross)
  • Monastery of the Holy and Life-giving Cross (Timios Stavros Monastery) (The ornament and true pride & joy of Omodos is the Monastery of the Holy and Life-giving Cross, built at the heart of the community. It rises majestically and with its imposing presence it becomes a significant part of Cyprus’s cultural heritage. The Monastery of the Holy Cross is one of the oldest and most historic monasteries of the island)
  • Linos Winery at Omodos Village (Linos Winery is located in the Omodos village in Limassol region at an altitude of 810 meters. Mrs Herodotou started making wine in 1986. In 1996 she and her husband Herodotos Herodotou moved the winery to their current premises. The winery owns 25 hectaers of vineyards near the winery and has an annual production of 200 000 bottles)

At Omodos Village you will be given the opportunity not only to get to know a bit better Cyprus Traditional Architecture through the narrow small streets, but as well to have a rest and your lunch in a very friendly and comfortable environment near the foothills of Troodos Mountains.
